We want your experience to feel seamless from the moment you book. Here are answers to some of our most common questions. If you need more guidance, we're always here to help.

  • All bookings are done online through our website. We don’t accept phone bookings or walk‑ins for scheduled services.

  • We offer complimentary Hair Goals Consultations in person to discuss your needs and give a personalized quote. We don’t provide pricing estimates via phone or text.

  • Hair Art·ist (noun)
    A licensed creative professional who approaches hair as a form of personal expression, combining technical skill with artistic vision to create customized, wearable looks that complement a client’s features, lifestyle, and identity.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex) and digital payments. As of 2026, we do not charge credit card fees.

    For extension bookings or “Dream Hair” packages, half of the cost is due up front and is billed as merchandise, and the remainder is due by 14 days before the appointment. We do not accept American Express on product or extension orders over $500 in value.

  • We have a strict 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel less than 48 hours before your service or no‑show, you WILL be charged 50% of the service cost (or lose your deposit). No exceptions.

    If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled to accommodate others.

  • If you’re dissatisfied with a service due to the stylist’s error, contact us within 24 hours, and we’ll schedule a complimentary corrective service (must be done within 7 calendar days).

    We do NOT offer refunds, only adjustments for services performed.

    All adjustments must be completed by the same Hair Artist who provided the initial service. If you cannot book with that Artist, another like and kind Hair Artist will be assigned for you based on their skill level and talent.

  • We offer complimentary salon pickup of product orders placed with Adrift at this time.

    • All color services include a consultation, optional to add a haircut or treatment, and Adrift’s signature styling.

    • Pricing depends on which Hair Artist you choose and the complexity of the service (e.g. extensions, color correction).

    • We offer children’s express cuts, wedding and event styling, facials waxing, and other specialty services.

    • We use Great Lengths keratin bond extensions and require a consult to assess if you’re a good candidate.

    • If you’re currently shedding hair (due to medical conditions, recent surgery, etc.), we may recommend waiting before applying extensions.

  • Yes, by booking and paying for services, clients consent that we may photograph or film for marketing, educational, or promotional use.

    If you request us to not photograph you, we will honor this request.

  • Gift certificates are valid for one year from purchase, non‑refundable, and not redeemable for cash.

  • If you opt in to receive texts, we collect minimal data (name, phone number), and use it to send appointment reminders and promotions. You can opt out by replying “STOP.”

  • While we accommodate based on services provided, we do not offer refunds on service packages or memberships. You are welcome to transfer your remaining blowouts to a family member or friend to enjoy. No exceptions.
