Where It All Began
Adrift Hair Co. begun in a small salon suite in Wake Forest on the premise of a vision: to create something that inspired. Built on innovation, education, and a passion for mentoring others, Adrift was founded to redefine the salon experience for both guests and Hair Artists.
2021
2024
The Scott family finds a location that works for the growing vision of what Adrift is growing into.
2022-2023
Adrift expands into luxury hair extensions, earning recognition as the area's Platinum Great Lengths Salon and becoming a trusted destination for premium keratin bond extensions. Adrift begins growing with Hair Artists.
2025
Adrift Opens it’s new doors in Wake Forest with 4 Hair Artists and growing. Adrift becomes Masters of Balayage certified.
L’Oreal Professional sends one of it’s highly regarded Hair Artists from Paris, France to share the original balayage and techniques that inspire.
2026
Adrift wins its first awards for its interior design on the global stage through Behind The Chair (BTC Top 100, 2026). Later, winning a consumer ratings award for top salon in the Wake Forest area.
Classes in haircutting, balayage, grey blending, keratin bond extensions are held for our team.
Today
Adrift continues to grow through Hair Artists, top education in the and the possibilities of what’s tomorrow.
Ongoing education in mentorship, advanced techniques, color artistry, and the latest industry innovations keeps our team continually growing and evolving.
